About the Event:
Join Mary Bue and Tara Cindy Sherman to draw upon the archetypal energies of Lakshmi, the heart of goodness. As the goddess of love, beauty, prosperity, and generosity, Lakshmi honors those who care deeply for others and the land.
Our intentions for the day are inspired by "What the World Needs Now is Love" by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Sally Kempton’s teaching that "to invoke Lakshmi you must first become Her," and Pam Gregory’s call to "Welcome in an Expanded Consciousness of Love."
- Part 1 - Raising the Frequency of Love: We will raise the shakti of love through yoga warm-ups and creative movement set to love songs. We will then transition into drumming and chanting to awaken the sacred heart and share intentions for peace.
- Part 2 - Resting in the Lap of Love: We will rest with gentle yin and restorative postures accompanied by Sonic Blessings from Mary. Resting in the lap of the goddess, the session includes Yoga Nidra for deep relaxation and concludes with additional Sonic Blessings
Join us for the full day or choose the session that speaks to you most. No prior experience is necessary—only an openness to explore. All are welcome. Pre-registration is required as a logistics email will be sent to participants the day before the event.
